Design and Product Development Support Program

 

 

Program Objective

 

The support aims to create and popularize a culture of design and innovation in Turkey by subsidizing the expenses of Designer Companies, Design Offices, and Cooperating Organizations related to:

• Promotion, advertising, marketing, employment, and consultancy.

• Expenses for units to be opened abroad.

• Expenses related to design and product development projects carried out by companies to develop high value-added products for international markets.

 

Key Definitions

 

• Design Office (Tasarım Ofisi): Companies established under the Turkish Commercial Code that exclusively operate in design services and/or consultancy in the fields of industrial product design or fashion design, and employ at least 3 designers.

• Designer Company (Tasarımcı Şirketi): Companies established under the Turkish Commercial Code, engaged in commercial and/or industrial activities in Turkey, in which a designer is a shareholder, and which operate in the fields of industrial product design or fashion design.

 

1) Support for Designer Companies

 

Support is provided at a 50% rate for the following expenses, aiming for international recognition and branding:

2) Support for Design Offices

 

Support is provided at a 50% rate for the following expenses, aiming for international recognition and branding:

3) Support for Design and Product Development Projects

 

Project Definition: Projects implemented to increase companies' fashion, industrial design, and innovation capacities to produce value-added products for export.

The support is provided at a 50% rate on a project basis, with the following total maximum limits for project expenses:

Important Note: A single company can only have one project supported.

 

Application Process

 

To benefit from the support elements, Designer Companies and Design Offices must apply to the General Secretariat of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) (TURQUALITY® Secretariat). The application form and accompanying documents are then forwarded by the TİM General Secretariat to the Ministry.
